Hill Staffers Fellowship Program


The premier virtue-anchored leadership program for Capitol Hill staffers,
fostering bipartisan engagement and cultivating effective leadership.

Overview

Located in Washington D.C., this virtue-anchored leadership program for hill staffers focuses on encouraging bi-partisan conversation and ethical public service while promoting effective leadership traits. To accomplish these needs for strengthening participative, democratic decision making and civil dialogue, legislative staffers will engage in leadership workshops featuring ethically-challenging case studies, seminars, and mentoring opportunities. Approved fellows will enjoy beginning of the year retreat and end of year certification dinner.

How to Apply

Participation is open to permanent junior staffers (e.g., Staff Assistants, Legislative Correspondents, Press Assistants, Schedulers, Interns, and junior Legislative Assistants). To apply, please fill out the short application found here.

Program Details

  • Most events will take place in person in Washington, D.C.

  • Programs will consist of lunch and dinner sessions, networking events, guest speakers, social nights, and mentor meetings.

  • All discussions are off the record

  • Attendance is important. Fellows should accumulate 10 points to complete our program and receive an invitation to our formal end-of-the-year dinner.

  • Reading materials will be assigned to help increase engagement and dialogue.

  • Our program will run off of the calendar year, January - December.

  • Our program is free.
